STRESS:  noun A state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or very demanding circumstances.

ANXIETY: noun A feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome.

Did you know stress comes from earthly things and NOT God? It is very hard not to get stressed in a busy world of chaos. It happens to everyone including myself. The following bible verses are some of my favorites from how to deal with stress and anxiety with God on your side. Highlight them on your bible and remember… fullsizerender-2

  1. “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand..” Philippians 4:6-7
  2. “I am leaving you with a gift- peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” John 14:27
  3. “In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and the Lord answered me and set me free. The Lord is for me, so i will have no fear. Yes, the Lord is for me; he will help me.” Psalms 118:5-7

When feeling stressed or worried remember,  “Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are.” 1 Peter 5:9 You can do ALL things with christ on your side!

Keep counting your blessings because as a Christian you are too blessed to be stressed!
